Call for Abstracts to provide an E-Poster
New submission deadline: 15th February 2026
At the International Expert Meeting on Ocular GVHD 2026, there will be an opportunity to present and discuss digital posters (e-posters). If a poster is accepted by the program committee, you will receive an invitation to the International Expert Meeting on Ocular GVHD 2026 and the costs of attending the conference will be waived. However, additional costs for accommodation and travel cannot be covered.
General Topic: Ocular GVHD & related fields.
Presentations are not limited to original research, also opinions or hypothesis are welcome

Structure
The abstracts should be structured in:
- Title (max. 300 characters)
- Background & research question
- Methods
- Results
Maximum length
3,500 characters inclusive spaces & punctuation, exclusive title, max. 2 tables/images, max. 12 references
Submit your abstract to: abstracts@k-aro.de
- Abstracts must be submitted between until 15th February 2026, 23:59 CET via E-Mail to abstracts@k-aro.de
- The conference language is English, the submitted abstracts/posters have tobe in English.
- Abstract changes and corrections will be accepted until the deadline on 15th February 2026, 23:59 CET.
- Ensure the citable publication of the abstracts.
- For presenting authors of accepted abstracts, registration and participation inthis conference is mandatory.
Content & Format
- Abstracts of papers previously presented at international congresses (Encores)are admissible
- Do not use the title or the name(s) of the author(s) in the body of the abstract.
- Please phrase your abstract clearly and unambiguously, and structure itaccording to the research question, the objective, the methods used and theconclusion.
- Use standard abbreviations.
- Abstract content is limited to a maximum of 3.500 characters (includingspaces).
- Abstracts may include up to 2 illustrations (images/tables). For each illustrationinserted into the abstract 1 character will be deducted. You can upload imagesin JPG or PNG format. The max. size for images is 2,5 MB.
- Abstracts may include up to 12 references. For each reference inserted into theabstract 1 character will be deducted.
Notifications
Note that only the submitting (corresponding) person receives all notifications about the abstract. Therefore, make sure that emails from abstracts@k-aro.de are not marked as spam by your email provider.
Submitting (corresponding) authors take responsibility for informing all co-authors of the successful submission, acceptance or rejection, as well as for forwarding to presenters any instructions received on how to present the abstract.
Benefits
Authors of accepted abstracts are invited to attend the meeting for free. All authors will receive detailed instructions on how and in what format to create the e-poster.
